MOTU UltraLite MK5 18x22 USB Audio Interface

The MOTU UltraLite MK5 is an 18×22 USB audio interface built into a half-rack steel chassis that handles 40 simultaneous channels of I/O. Designed for producers, engineers and touring musicians who need pro-grade conversion in a compact, portable format, it pairs an ESS Sabre32 DAC with MOTU's optimised drivers to deliver round–trip latency as low as 2.4 ms at up to 24–bit/192 kHz over USB–C.

The front panel carries two combo XLR/TRS inputs with mic, line and hi–Z guitar preamps plus 48V phantom power, six line inputs, and ten DC–coupled TRS line outputs for monitoring and outboard gear. Round the back sit eight channels of optical I/O, RCA S/PDIF, 5–pin MIDI in and out, and a dedicated headphone jack. The onboard DSP mixer creates independent mixes for each output pair, featuring reverb, 4–band parametric EQ and dynamics processing controlled via the CueMix 5 app over USB or Wi–Fi. Loopback routing simplifies podcasting and livestreaming, while talkback and A/B monitor select let it run standalone as a full mixer without a computer.
