Genelec 9402A AoIP System Management Device

AoIP System Management Device for Dante to AES/EBU The 9402A AoIP System Management Device for Dante to AES/EBU is a Dante-centric multichannel Audio-over-IP (AoIP) interface, designed to seamlessly integrate Smart Active Monitoring (SAM) systems into modern broadcast and production networks. Built for immersive and scalable workflows, the 9402A delivers high-quality multichannel audio distribution over standard IP infrastructures, with a strong emphasis on robust Dante-based connectivity and system reliability. Smart Active Monitoring (SAM™) and GLM™ calibration technology Operating Manual via an included QR code link Includes a 2-year warranty, plus an additional 3-year extended warranty when registered on MyGenelec. Requires free GLM software and either our 9320A SAM™ Reference Controller or GLM Calibration Kit device (both sold separately) for calibration. Seamless AoIP Integration for Scalable, High-Resolution Monitoring Empowers all SAM monitoring systems for Audio over IP (AoIP), including Dante, AES67, and ST 2110-30 networks, delivering seamless networked audio integration. Bit-perfect audio performance ensures pristine sound quality without any compromise. Full compatibility with Dante Controller, Dante Director, and Dante Domain Manager enables streamlined discovery, routing, management, and media encryption across connected systems. The scalable architecture allows multiple units to be combined for virtually unlimited channel count, while a single 9402A supports immersive audio formats up to 9.1.6 (16 channels). Flexible system design includes a free choice of any 7300 series subwoofer model to match specific monitoring requirements. An auxiliary stereo AES output is available for headphones or secondary monitoring applications, adding further versatility. Integration with GLM 5.2 provides precise system calibration and intuitive control, ensuring optimal monitoring performance in any professional environment. Reliable, High-Capacity AoIP Connectivity A flexible and scalable 16-channel AoIP monitoring solution, the 9402A integrates seamlessly into Dante-based workflows while supporting AES67 and ST 2110-30 for broadcast interoperability. Each additional unit expands capacity by 16 channels, enabling effortless system growth and efficient low-frequency scaling with multiple 73xx subwoofers. Dual redundant network ports (ST 2022-7) ensure reliable Dante streaming, while 16-channel AES/EBU output (DB25), subwoofer linking via XLR, and an auxiliary stereo AES output provide versatile connectivity. Full compatibility with Genelec SAM systems and integration with GLM 5 deliver precise calibration and control, adapting perfectly to any format, layout, and room.
