Product Information

The Elektron Outbox 8 is a multi-output audio and CV interface engineered to bridge modern DAW workflows with modular synthesisers, analogue sequencers, and Eurorack systems. Eight DC-coupled quarter-inch outputs convert digital signals into analogue audio or control voltage, turning a computer into a modular control hub. USB class-compliant operation ensures compatibility across Mac, Windows, and iOS without driver installation, while the compact desktop footprint integrates directly into existing studio or live rigs.

All eight outputs operate at 24-bit/96kHz resolution with DC coupling extending down to 0Hz, allowing precise CV transmission for pitch, gate, modulation, and trigger signals. Each output delivers up to +10dBu, providing headroom for both line-level audio and voltage-controlled parameter automation. The interface draws power exclusively via USB, eliminating the need for external adapters. Low-latency performance supports real-time sequencing and parameter automation from Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio, VCV Rack, and other DAW environments with multi-output routing.
