Product Information
The Dunlop Gary Clark Jr Cry Baby Wah is a signature effects pedal modified specifically for the blues–rock guitarist's tonal palette. Dunlop recalibrated the frequency range lower than standard Cry Baby models, allowing the pedal to sit deeper in the mix alongside Clark's thick, overdriven tones. The sweep has been tightened to deliver a more focused vocal quality that complements both single–note leads and rhythmic chord stabs. This is a legacy product no longer in production.
The lower frequency voicing shifts the wah's resonant peak down from the typical midrange focus, giving it a darker character that emphasises the low–mids where Clark's playing lives. The tighter sweep range reduces the travel between heel–down and toe–down positions, making subtle tonal shifts more controllable during fast rhythmic passages. True bypass switching preserves signal integrity when disengaged. Power options include a 9–volt battery, Dunlop ECB003 adapter, or compatibility with DC Brick, Iso–Brick, and Mini Iso–Brick power supplies.
