Enjoy the realistic feel of this Yamaha XP80 8-inch, three-zone DTX electronic snare and tom drum pad. The drum head, which is made of textured cellular silicone, uses free-floating construction for increased sensitivity that virtually eliminates cross talk. This drum pad performs superbly as a result of a development process that involved evaluation by the world's top drummers. As a result, it is fantastically quiet, and its excellent feel and quietness make it ideal for home use.
This drum pad is divided into 3 zones, and it supports open and closed rimshots. You can also assign different voices to different zones to allow for highly original performances. For example, create an acoustic drum sound when you hit the head area, a cowbell sound when you hit the open rim area, and a loop sound when you hit the closed rim area.
