Product Information
The Yamaha EAD10 Electronic Acoustic Drum System bridges acoustic and electronic percussion through a sensor unit mounted above the kit, capturing three-dimensional drum sound alongside a trigger clipped to the kick. This hybrid module opens doors for bedroom recording, livestreaming and practice sessions where traditional miking isn't practical. The sensor design captures the natural timbre and dynamics of acoustic drums, then layers electronic voices and effects over the top for textured performance.
The system includes 50 preset drum and percussion voices, 20 trigger sounds, and built-in reverb with 20 scene memories for quick recall. USB audio interface functionality routes audio at 24-bit/44.1 kHz into DAWs or streaming software without additional hardware. Compatible with the Rec'n'Share and EAD Touch apps for iOS and Android, the module allows smartphone control of settings, video capture synchronised with audio, and on-device editing. A TRS trigger input, stereo auxiliary input, and headphone output with volume control round out the connection panel.
