Product Information
Two-unit mixing setups usually mean choosing between a bigger desk or accepting a channel squeeze. Chaining a pair of Teenage Engineering's K.O.-Sidekick mixers solves that without adding size, giving a producer or hybrid performer four stereo channels of mixing, effects and audio interfacing in a footprint that still sits comfortably on a desk or in a gig bag.
The lead Sidekick carries two stereo channels of gain, three-band EQ with switchable DJ and studio voicings, and per-channel compression, alongside six Knock-Out performance effects driven from a pressure-sensitive FX pad. Its built-in USB audio interface records multichannel sessions at 48 kHz, 24-bit, so every source running through the chain lands cleanly in a DAW.
The second Sidekick extends that mixing surface through the aux input, adding another two stereo channels with the same EQ, compression and effects, rather than bolting on a separate accessory mixer. Side connector points let the pair lock together physically, so four channels of routing travel and sit as one unit instead of two loose boxes tethered by cable.
Running on AAA batteries or USB-C, the combination suits anyone stacking samplers, drum machines or line-level gear beyond what a single two-channel mixer can hold, without stepping up to a full-size console.
