Product Information
The Sennheiser XS Wireless SKM Handheld Transmitter with E835 capsule delivers professional wireless freedom in the UHF frequency range of 548–572 MHz (Frequency B). Designed around a dynamic cardioid capsule, this handheld transmitter combines the proven E835 sound signature with dependable wireless transmission. The system achieves a signal-to-noise ratio of ≥103 dB(A) and total harmonic distortion ≤0.9%, ensuring clean, transparent audio for vocal applications across rehearsal rooms, live stages, and broadcast environments.
The SKM transmitter operates on two AA batteries with approximately 10 hours of continuous runtime, and features adjustable gain from 0 to –30 dB in 10 dB steps for flexible level matching. Input sensitivity of 1.5 mV/Pa and adjustable squelch from 3 dBμV to 28 dBμV (combined with pilot tone) provide robust RF performance and freedom from interference. The receiver utilises double superheterodyne architecture with an audio frequency response of 50 to 16,000 Hz (–3 dB), and offers both XLR balanced output (+12 dBu) and 1/4" unbalanced output (+6 dBu) with switchable line/mic level (20 dB). The handheld weighs 340 grams and measures approximately 200 mm in length.
