The Sennheiser EW-DP SKP Plug-On Transmitter transforms any dynamic or phantom-powered microphone into a professional digital wireless system. Operating in the S1-7 frequency range (606.2, 662 MHz), this plug-on unit delivers just 1.9 ms latency with an exceptional 134 dB dynamic range. Powered by two AA batteries with a combined 2.3 Ah capacity, the SKP weighs 163 grams and integrates Bluetooth control for remote configuration via the Smart Assist app.

Audio performance extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with total harmonic distortion below, 60 dB at 1 kHz. The transmitter handles input voltages from 2.0 to 4.35 V and supplies up to 10 mA output power, accommodating both high-level (< 2 dBV max) and phantom-powered microphones. Transmission power reaches 10 mW ERP for the audio link, while Bluetooth operates at 2.4 GHz (2402, 2480 MHz) with 10 mW EIRP. Operating conditions range from, 10°C to 55°C across 5, 95% non-condensing humidity.

The housing measures 81 mm wide by 73 mm high and 350 mm in length, designed to mount directly onto XLR microphone outputs. Charging current draws less than 300 mA without recording or phantom power engaged. Two batteries are included alongside quick-start documentation and manufacturer declarations. The unit ships with comprehensive firmware update support and full compatibility across the Evolution Wireless Digital receiver family, backed by a two-year warranty.
