Product Information
The Vintera® III Late '60s Precision Bass® brings you back to the golden era of bass design with meticulous attention to period‐correct details and authentic vintage tone. Built with a classic alder body and maple neck, this instrument captures the punchy, clear sound that defined countless recordings from the late 1960s. The comfortable late '60s "C"‐shape neck profile pairs with a 7.25" radius fingerboard and vintage‐tall frets, offering the familiar feel that made these basses legendary in the hands of session players and rock pioneers alike.
At the heart of this bass sits a vintage‐style late '60s split‐coil pickup that produces the warm, woody tone and powerful punch that put Fender on the map. The vintage‐style 4‐saddle bridge with threaded steel saddles provides rock‐solid intonation and sustain, while the classic "lollipop" tuning machines keep you in tune throughout your performance. Available in iconic finishes including Black, Firemist Gold, Lake Placid Blue, and 3‐Color Sunburst, each bass comes with a deluxe gig bag and is strung with Fender USA 7250M nickel plated steel strings.
