The Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass® V delivers Fender® tradition with modern refinements for enhanced playability and tonal versatility. Its Modern "C" maple neck features a satin urethane finish for a smooth playing experience, while the 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard offers rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets for effortless navigation.

The alder body provides a rich and balanced tonal foundation, available in a range of bold new finishes. The Player II Noiseless™ Jazz Bass® V pickups deliver the signature growl and articulation while eliminating unwanted noise. A newly designed active preamp, featuring an active/passive mini toggle switch and a three-band EQ, enables players to shape their tone with precision, from deep lows to crisp highs.

For improved tuning stability and sustain, the Fender HiMass™ bridge with chrome-plated zinc saddles ensures optimal resonance. The five-saddle design provides extra stability for the low B string, while lightweight tapered-shaft tuning machines and a TUSQ® nut maintain rock-solid tuning accuracy.
