The Player II Jaguar brings iconic Fender design into the modern era with thoughtful updates that prioritise playability and tonal versatility. This stage‐ready instrument features a classic alder body finished in both traditional Fender colours and newly discovered archive shades, while the Modern "C"‐profile maple neck with satin urethane back finish ensures fast, comfortable playing across the 9.5" radius slab rosewood fingerboard with its 22 medium jumbo frets and smooth rolled edges.
Tonally, the guitar is powered by Player Series Alnico V bridge and Alnico II neck single‐coil Jaguar pickups, offering crystalline highs, musical mids and tight lows suitable for any musical style. The straightforward 3‐way blade switch provides easy access to glassy neck tones, cutting bridge bite, or blended combinations, while master volume and tone controls allow for precise sound shaping. The 6‐saddle Jaguar bridge with floating tremolo, upgraded Mustang saddles and ClassicGear™ tuning machines work together to maintain tuning stability through expressive performance.
Available in 3 Color Sunburst, Polar White, Aquatone Blue, Coral Red and Hialeah Yellow finishes, the Player II Jaguar ships strung with Fender USA 250L nickel plated steel strings (.009‐.042 gauges) and features a 24" scale length that contributes to the model's distinctive feel and response.
