The Limited Edition Vintera® III Early '60s Custom Telecaster® brings together the most sought‐after elements of Fender's golden era in a double‐bound alder body that captures the authentic spirit of 1960s craftsmanship. This meticulously crafted vintage recreation features a maple neck paired with a round‐laminated rosewood fingerboard, offering that unmistakable Fender sound brimming with punch and crystal‐clear articulation. The authentic early '60s "C"‐shaped neck profile provides an instantly familiar playing feel, while the 7.25" radius fingerboard with 21 vintage‐tall frets ensures supreme comfort for extended playing sessions.
At the heart of this instrument sit two vintage‐style 1963 spec'd single‐coil Telecaster® pickups that capture the bright, cutting tones which established Fender's reputation during this pivotal era. The 3‐position blade switching gives you classic Tele® versatility, from the bridge pickup's signature twang to the neck pickup's warm, rounded tones, with both pickups combined in the middle position. Period‐correct appointments include a vintage‐style 3‐saddle bridge with threaded steel saddles, nickel/chrome hardware, knurled flat‐top control knobs, and a distinctive 3‐ply mint green pickguard that adds visual authenticity.
This limited edition model comes finished in classic 3‐Color Sunburst with gloss polyester body finish and gloss urethane neck finish. Fitted with Fender® vintage‐style tuning machines and strung with USA 250L Nickel Plated Steel strings (.009‐.042 gauges), this guitar arrives ready to play in a deluxe gig bag. Every detail has been carefully considered to tell the story of Fender's most celebrated decade.
