The Fender Lee Sklar Precision Bass celebrates one of the most recorded bassists in history, replicating the heavily modified instrument that has defined Leland Sklar's tone across sessions with James Taylor, Carole King, Jackson Browne, and Phil Collins. Stripped to bare wood and left to age naturally through decades of touring, this signature model captures the essence of “Frankenstein,” the P Bass that anchored countless iconic recordings. Dual EMG® Active Lee Sklar P pickups deliver exceptional clarity and output, while a neck shaved to Jazz Bass dimensions offers a distinctly fast playing feel.

The modified neck profile combines the familiar 34-inch scale length with a slimmer Jazz Bass–style shape, dressed with mandolin frets that provide a uniquely fluid response under the fingers. A Hipshot® BT3 Bass Xtender™ on the E string enables instant drop tuning for extended low-end range without retuning. The Badass™ II Bridge maximises sustain and intonation, while the rosewood fingerboard complements the natural finish that exposes the ash body's grain.
