John Osborne's signature Telecaster® brings the Grammy‐winning guitarist's pedal steel‐inspired sound to your hands with Fender's innovative B string bending mechanism. This highly‐customized instrument is closely modeled after his personal guitar, featuring custom‐voiced pickups and a modified bridge system that raises the B string's pitch up to a whole step‐the secret weapon behind those distinctive country lead lines and chords that have earned him seven Academy of Country Music awards and six Country Music Association awards.
Built with professional‐grade craftsmanship, this Artist Signature Series guitar features an alder body paired with a Road Worn® oil‐finished '68‐style maple neck and maple cap fingerboard. The 7.25" radius and 21 jumbo frets provide smooth playability across the 25.5" scale length, while the Road Worn® Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer finish captures the authentic wear and character of a working musician's trusted instrument. Three compensated brass barrel saddles and a custom black pickguard complete the vintage aesthetic.
The John Osborne Telecaster pickups offer versatile tonal options through a 3‐position toggle switch, moving from shimmering clean tones to growling overdrive with master volume and tone controls. Nickel hardware, Fender® Vintage "F" stamped tuning machines, and a 1.650" synthetic bone nut round out the specifications. This instrument comes complete with a deluxe black hardshell case and Fender® USA 250R nickel plated steel strings (.010‐.046 gauges).
