Fender American Professional II Telecaster Rosewood Fingerboard (Dark Night)

The American Professional II Telecaster represents Fender's ongoing refinement of the workhorse electric guitar that defined country, rock, and everything in between. This Dark Night finish model pairs a rosewood fingerboard with updated hardware and electronics that address decades of player feedback. At its core are V-Mod II Telecaster single-coil pickups, voiced to deliver the bridge bite and neck warmth the model is known for, with enhanced clarity across the frequency spectrum and reduced microphonic feedback under high gain.

The Deep C neck profile sits between a modern C and a U–shape, offering substantial support without feeling chunky. A 9.5" radius fingerboard with 22 narrow tall frets facilitates bends and fast runs up the neck. The bridge pickup now mounts to the body rather than the bridge plate, improving sustain and resonance. A top-load/string-through bridge with compensated brass saddles provides accurate intonation and tonal options. Cold-rolled steel block saddles on the ashtray bridge contribute to the Tele's signature snap and clarity.
