Product Information
The Epiphone EB-3 is a mahogany–body electric bass modelled on the classic SG design that emerged from Kalamazoo in the early 1960s. This bass carries genuine pedigree—Jack Bruce, Bill Wyman, and John Entwistle all played SG–style basses on record—but the EB-3 cuts the vintage price tag and vintage headaches. Two humbuckers deliver the thick, punchy tone the design is known for.
The body is solid mahogany with a slim–taper D–profile mahogany neck topped by a rosewood fingerboard. The neck pickup uses a Sidewinder Humbucker, while the bridge mounts a NYT Bass Mini Humbucker, each with independent volume and tone controls plus a 3–way rotary switch to blend them. The 863.6 mm scale stretches across 22 frets with a 41.91 mm Graph Tech nut. Hardware includes a 3–point bass bridge and vintage–style 2+2 tuners with chrome finish. A premium gig bag ships with the bass.
