Epiphone's Prophecy series receives a full redesign with this Victory FR model, pairing a mahogany body with flamed maple veneer in an Obsidian Storm Satin finish. The thermally aged one-piece maple neck features graphite reinforcement rods and the Hyperglide profile, delivering stability across climate changes and rapid position shifts. At 25.5" scale length, string tension remains tight for drop tunings and extended-range work, while the bound ebony fretboard spans a 10"–14" compound radius across 24 stainless steel frets.

Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups provide three distinct voices accessed via push/pull controls on the master volume and tone knobs, covering high-gain modern tones through to cleaner recording applications. The Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo system pairs with a Floyd Rose R3 43mm locking nut and Grover Rotomatic locking tuners for stable pitch return under dive-bomb abuse. Black hardware throughout includes the multi-ply-bound Explorer-style headstock with mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo, while black mother-of-pearl dot inlays mark the fretboard positions.

The 647.7mm scale and stainless steel frets deliver note clarity and sustain in downtuned configurations, where the focused midrange and controlled low end of the Fluence pickups maintain definition under heavy gain. Single-ply body binding and the satin finish reduce arm drag during fast runs. A Protector Ultralite soft case handles transport between rehearsal spaces and venues.
