Product Information

Completely redesigned from the ground up, this Epiphone Prophecy SG arrives with Fishman Fluence pickups, a thermally aged maple neck reinforced with graphite rods, and 24 stainless steel frets on a compound-radius ebony fretboard. The mahogany SG Modern body features a maple cap with flamed maple veneer, finished in Crimson Fog Satin for a contemporary look that retains the classic SG silhouette. Black mother-of-pearl block inlays and a multi-ply bound headstock with Custom split diamond inlay add premium visual detail, while Grover Rotomatic locking tuners and a LockTone Modern bridge ensure tuning stability.

The custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups deliver three selectable voices via push/pull master volume and tone controls, providing tonal range from high-gain aggression to studio-ready clarity. The satin-finished one-piece maple neck uses thermal aging for dimensional stability, while graphite rod reinforcement adds strength without extra weight. A 10–14″ compound radius ebony fretboard allows faster playing in the lower positions and wider bends up high, with stainless steel frets offering durability and bright harmonic response. The 647.7 mm scale length and HyperGlide neck profile balance comfortable reach with precise intonation. Includes a Protector Ultralite soft case.
