Product Information
The Epiphone ES–335 is a semi-hollow electric guitar built on the template that Gibson introduced in 1958. That original design became the standard for warm, articulate tone in a body that balances acoustic resonance with electric amplification. This Vintage Sunburst model delivers the classic ES–335 character—sustain, warmth, and controlled feedback—at a price point that makes the design accessible to working musicians and serious hobbyists.
The body is constructed from layered maple (top, back, and sides) with a solid maple tone block at its centre, a configuration that produces the instrument's signature resonance. Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers in both neck and bridge positions handle everything from clean, articulate tones to warm, compressed leads. The neck is mahogany with a rounded C profile and rosewood fingerboard, 628mm scale length, 22 frets. Hardware includes a LockTone Tune–O–Matic bridge, LockTone stop bar tailpiece, Graph Tech nut (56.88mm), and Epiphone Deluxe tuners. The headstock follows the 60s–era Kalamazoo shape. Two volume and two tone controls (CTS potentiometers) with a 3–way toggle switch allow precise on–the–fly adjustment.
The guitar ships with a premium gig bag, suitable for transport between rehearsals and gigs. Its semi-hollow construction makes it lighter than a fully acoustic archtop but resonant enough to reward fingerpicking or unplugged practice. The ES–335 excels in rock, blues, jazz, and indie contexts where tonal warmth and articulation matter.
