Epiphone 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cut Electric Guitar (TV White) inc Hard Case

The Epiphone 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cut is a mahogany electric guitar modelled on Gibson's 1958 redesign of the original 1955 model. Double-cutaway body shape gives access to upper frets without the cramping of a single-cut. Two Gibson Custom USA P-90 Soapbar pickups deliver warm cleans and gritty drive from the same pair of circuits, voiced through individual volume and tone controls with CTS pots and Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors for authentic response.

The one-piece mahogany neck wears a 1960s SlimTaper C profile—fast-playing and comfortable for extended sessions. Rosewood fingerboard carries 22 medium jumbo frets with mother-of-pearl dots, crowned by a 12-inch radius for smooth chord work. Graph Tech nut anchors the strings at the Gibson "open book" headstock fitted with Epiphone Deluxe three-on-a-plate tuners. Wraparound bridge with intonation screws provides both stability and the sustain the Special became known for. Scale length is 628.65 mm.

In TV White with brown vintage-style hardshell case included. This reissue captures the design that made the Special a studio and session favourite from 1958 onwards, now at a price that lets working musicians actually own one rather than hire one.
