Product Information
The Adrian Belew Echoflanger from Electro Harmonix captures the modulated delay tones that defined the King Crimson guitarist's work throughout the 1980s. This limited edition pedal recreates the specific tape–echo and flanging combinations Belew used to generate his signature rhythmic textures and cascading soundscapes. At its core sits a dual–engine architecture that runs independent delay and flanging circuits in series, each with discrete control over time, depth, and regeneration parameters.
Delay times span from 30ms to 3 seconds, with tap tempo functionality and expression pedal input for real–time modulation control. The flanger section offers through–zero capability, producing authentic jet–plane sweeps and barber–pole effects that sit naturally in the delay trail. Nine onboard presets store complete parameter sets, while true bypass switching preserves signal integrity when disengaged. Standard 9V DC operation draws 140mA, and the die–cast enclosure houses top–mounted jacks that save pedalboard space.
