Product Information

The BD-2-B50A commemorates five decades of BOSS compact pedal history with a limited production run of just 7,000 units worldwide. This Blues Driver reissue reproduces the warm overdrive and emotive distortion characteristics of vintage tube amplifiers, delivering the creamy yet crunchy tonality that defines classic blues guitar. The exclusive metallic finish and foiled packaging distinguish this anniversary edition from the standard BD-2, making it a collectible tribute to one of the most influential drive pedals in the BOSS catalogue.

The pedal's tube amp simulation circuitry responds dynamically to playing nuance and volume changes, preserving the articulation and touch sensitivity that separate recorded blues tones from generic overdrive. Three control knobs govern Level, Tone, and Gain parameters, allowing players to dial in everything from subtle warmth to full distortion saturation. Power options include standard 9V battery operation or external AC adaptor connectivity. The metallic enclosure houses the same analog signal path as the production BD-2, ensuring the anniversary edition retains the sonic character that has made this pedal a studio and stage staple since its original release.
