Zildjian FX 8" Cymbal Stack

The Zildjian FX 8″ Cymbal Stack combines two specially–voiced cymbals with the company's Cymbolt® multi–functional mount to deliver a highly responsive stack that can be dialled in to suit different musical contexts. Bright and musical by design, this 8″ configuration offers quick tension adjustments that shift the tonal character from a splashy, washy response through to raw and cutting articulation. The included mount hardware transforms what might otherwise be a fixed voicing into a genuinely customisable setup, giving drummers immediate access to multiple sound profiles without additional cymbals or accessories.

The FX Stack's voicing flexibility stems from the Cymbolt mount's tension control, which alters how tightly the two cymbals sit together and therefore how freely they interact when struck. Looser tension yields more wash and sustain with a brighter, airier quality, while tighter settings produce shorter, more aggressive attack with pronounced stick definition. This 8″ size slots neatly into trap, fusion, industrial and hip–hop production setups, where stacks have become foundational timbres.
