Product Information
The Zildjian FX 12" Cymbal Stack pairs a bright, responsive upper cymbal with a raw lower voice, combining both into a single mount system that can be adjusted on the fly. The included Cymbolt® mount allows tension customisation, letting players shift from a splashy, open wash to a tight, cutting attack with just a twist. Brightness and articulation are inherently musical, but the real advantage lies in how quickly the sound profile can be dialled in without tools or complex hardware changes.
Available in 8", 10", 12" and 14" diameter options, the FX Stack uses a multi-functional mount that controls sustain and decay through simple tension adjustment. The stack can be played as a standalone voice or combined with other FX Stack sizes, splashes, chinas, or EFX cymbals to create layered textures. Contemporary styles like fusion, industrial and trap favour stacks for their aggressive snap, but the concept translates to any drumming context where quick, controllable colour is needed.
