Product Information
The Yamaha CS8W is a double–braced boom cymbal stand engineered around fast setup and improved acoustic performance. Yamaha's 8 Series hardware introduces a Quick Release Nut system that speeds cymbal changes without compromising stability, while a redesigned Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer allows the cymbal to vibrate more freely. The tilter mechanism has been upgraded for stronger hold and greater positioning range across both boom and straight configurations.
A Step Free Tilter provides infinite angle adjustment without discrete click positions, giving precise control over cymbal placement. The Hinged Boom Tilter Clamp allows tool–free boom arm attachment and removal, streamlining pack–down after sessions or gigs. Double–braced legs deliver rigidity under heavy playing, while the boom–to–straight convertible tilter mechanism adapts the stand to different kit layouts. Each contact point has been evaluated to reduce unwanted dampening and preserve cymbal sustain.
