Yamaha CS7 7 Series Single Braced Cymbal Boom Stand

The Yamaha CS7 is a single–braced boom cymbal stand from the company's 7 Series hardware line, engineered to deliver faster setup and fuller cymbal resonance through a suite of newly developed attachment mechanisms. The Quick Release Nut enables rapid cymbal changes without the threading delays of conventional wingnuts. Yamaha has redesigned the contact points and tilter assembly to reduce damping and let cymbals breathe, addressing the tonal compromises often introduced by hardware components.

The Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer minimises contact area between metal surfaces, allowing the cymbal to vibrate more freely and produce richer overtones. A Hinged Boom Tilter Clamp provides secure positioning while the gear–equipped centre tilt mechanism offers precise angle adjustment across a wide range. The boom arm converts to straight configuration without requiring additional parts or tools, giving the stand dual functionality for different kit layouts. Single bracing reduces weight and footprint without sacrificing stability, making transport and positioning more straightforward in tight stage or studio environments.
