The Wampler Golden Jubilee is a dual-channel drive pedal engineered to capture the signature tones of 1980s British and American high-gain amplifiers in a compact format. Brian Wampler designed this US-built pedal as a practical solution for players seeking serious gain character without sacrificing note definition or pedalboard real estate. At 2.5" × 4.8" × 2.3", it delivers full-stack presence whilst remaining genuinely portable—ideal for touring musicians and fixed-rig studio setups alike.
The Golden Jubilee features two independent channels: a Distortion (DS) stage capturing the smooth articulation of boutique Californian amps, and an Overdrive (OD) channel delivering saturated British crunch. Each channel operates with separate Level, Gain, and Tone controls; character switches adjust the OD's gain profile and DS brightness independently. A third toggle reconfigures the stacking sequence, allowing either channel to drive the other. Power consumption sits at 30 mA across both 9V and 18V DC operation.
