Product Information

Vic Firth's 5A wood-tip stick bundles deliver the core tool for drummers working across genres and settings. These American-made drumsticks have earned their place in studios and touring kits alike, thanks to consistent manufacturing and reliable performance. The 5A profile sits between lighter and heavier options, making it versatile for both studio recording and live work. This bundle structure–buy three pairs, receive a fourth free–rewards commitment to a proven stick model without markup.

The 5A specification measures 15 5/8 inches in length with a diameter of 0.565 inches, providing balanced response and rebound across cymbal work and drum heads. Wood tips produce warmer, more articulate tones on cymbals compared to nylon alternatives, whilst allowing drummers to shape dynamics through grip and technique. Hickory remains the material of choice for its strength-to-weight ratio and natural flex characteristics. The straightness and weight consistency across pairs ensures minimal session-to-session adjustment when switching sticks.
