Product Information
Built for the heaviest hitters and drum corps performers, the Vater VH3SN 3S Nylon Tip Drum Sticks bring serious power to your playing. These large, beefy sticks are crafted from premium American Hickory that undergoes a specialised stress‐release process, where temperatures are slowly raised for 8 hours during the final drying cycle. This meticulous treatment ensures the sticks remain perfectly straight and maintain their shape over time.
Vater exclusively sources the finest Shellbark and Shagbark Hickory species, chosen for their exceptional shock absorption and durability. The wood must meet stringent quality standards, including a precise moisture content of 10‐12% specifically optimised for striking tools. This attention to detail results in drumsticks that offer outstanding feel and long‐lasting performance for demanding players.
The company maintains sustainable harvesting practices, ensuring that each tree harvested is replaced with a new planting. Additional trees naturally regenerate from fallen Hickory nuts, supporting the ongoing availability of this premium wood source for future generations of drummers.
