Plugging directly into the ep-plug port on top of the EP–35 amplifier, the Teenage Engineering Amptenna transforms the compact speaker into a portable FM radio without any cables or external power. This FM receiver is purpose-built for the EP–35, extending the functionality of the portable amplifier platform with simple broadcast radio access. At just 18.8 mm x 193 mm, the antenna maintains the same compact approach as the amplifier itself, designed for use at home, outdoors or anywhere the EP–35 travels.

The plug-and-play operation requires no configuration or setup–the Amptenna connects directly to the dedicated port and immediately provides access to local FM stations through the EP–35's driver. The lightweight form factor adds minimal bulk to the amplifier, preserving portability while adding radio functionality. The antenna integrates with the EP–35 platform without requiring separate batteries, drawing power through the ep-plug connection for straightforward operation on the move.
