Product Information

Taylor's Premium 351 Thermex picks bring the company's proprietary thermo-bonding process to the 1.5mm gauge in a striking Black Onyx finish. This exclusive manufacturing technique bonds the material under heat and pressure to yield noticeably warmer, richer tones compared to standard moulded picks. Part of the original DarkTone Series and precision-cut in the USA, these picks measure 1.5mm thick – Taylor's heaviest gauge – delivering maximum volume and tonal depth from every stroke.

The classic 351 shape offers familiar hand-feel with a rounded playing edge that glides smoothly across strings. Thermex material resists wear while maintaining its tonal properties through extended use, and the substantial 1.5mm thickness provides firm attack without requiring a tight grip. Each six-pack includes picks made domestically to consistent tolerances, ensuring repeatable performance across acoustic and electric guitars. Taylor's thermo-bonding process alters the molecular structure of the pick material itself, not just the surface treatment, for tone that persists as the pick breaks in.
