The Taylor Crelicam Ebony Guitar Slide offers a warmer, softer tonal alternative to glass or metal slides. Constructed from genuine West African ebony sourced from the same responsibly harvested timber used in Taylor guitar bridges and fretboards, this 11/16" (small) slide delivers rich harmonic character on both electric and acoustic guitars. Taylor repurposes ebony that doesn't meet guitar–grade specifications, generating additional value from this precious timber resource while supporting environmental replanting projects and sustainable forestry initiatives.

The Crelicam ebony construction produces a distinctly warm slide tone compared to the brighter voice of glass or the metallic edge of brass and steel. This small size measures 11/16" in diameter, designed to fit smaller ring fingers or those preferring a tighter fit. The ebony material requires minimal maintenance – occasional fretboard oil application keeps the timber conditioned if it appears dry. Available in four sizes from 11/16" small through to 7/8" extra–large, the slide accommodates various finger dimensions and playing preferences across fingerstyle and bottleneck techniques.
