The Tanglewood TR5-CE Roadster II pairs the bold projection of a dreadnought body with Venetian cutaway access and onboard electronics. Designed for players who want traditional acoustic power with amplified capability, the TR5-CE responds equally well to strumming and fingerstyle playing. A Tibetan spruce top delivers bright, articulate tone with strong dynamic response, while mahogany back and sides add warmth and midrange depth to the overall voice.

The dreadnought body shape produces commanding low-end presence and volume, with the cutaway providing smooth access to upper frets for lead work. Tanglewood's TEQ-MX preamp system offers intuitive EQ controls for shaping amplified tone through PA systems, amplifiers, or recording interfaces. The Eboncore fingerboard provides a smooth playing surface, and the Natural Satin finish lets the timber resonate freely while revealing the grain of the spruce and mahogany construction.
