Product Information

Tama's MTH1000 Double Tom Holder represents a focused engineering approach to tom positioning on drum kits. Built around a 25.4mm diameter bass section tubing, the unit prioritises stability without sacrificing adjustment range. The swivel-wing design (U.S. Patent No. 9087498) addresses a genuine problem in kit setup: getting two toms to sit at ergonomic angles whilst remaining secure under playing conditions. This holder suits drummers who value repeatable positioning and quick reconfiguration between sessions.

The omni-ball system forms the technical centrepiece, enabling unrestricted angle adjustment across all planes. Each ball articulates through a 100mm forward-and-backward arc, allowing significant vertical and horizontal repositioning without breaking down hardware or adjusting the main post. The chrome finish (MTH1000) resists oxidation in humid environments; black nickel (MTH1000BN) and smoked black nickel (MTH1000U) variants offer aesthetic alternatives whilst delivering identical mechanical performance. The tubing diameter ensures rigidity during dynamic playing whilst remaining compatible with standard tom lugs and clamps.
