Product Information
Tama's HP30TW is a twin chain double kick drum pedal engineered around a philosophy of responsive, adjustable feel without premium price tags. Built by a manufacturer with decades of percussion expertise, the unit addresses a common frustration for gigging and studio drummers–the inability to dial in beater angle and footboard geometry on entry–to–mid range hardware. At 3.42 kg, it balances durability with portable heft.
The HP30TW centres on two core mechanical refinements. Beater angle adjustment operates via a system linked to footboard pitch, allowing drummers to find the attack and bounce point suited to their technique without compromising structural integrity. The Power Glide cam shape mirrors Tama's Iron Cobra platform–an offset geometry designed to accelerate the beater during the strike whilst maintaining control through the release phase. Spring Tight tensioning rounds out the feature set, giving players straightforward adjustment of pedal resistance and rebound characteristics.
