Product Information

Since 1987, over 10 million guitars have hung from String Swing's original pivoting cradle design, and the CC01-BW Classical Guitar Wall Hook continues that legacy with a black walnut hardwood block handcrafted by Amish craftsmen using authentic North American lumber. The pivoting padded steel cradle securely holds classical nylon-string guitars and 5-string basses thanks to its adjustable width, while the included keeper rings ensure the instrument stays locked in place. The design provides adequate clearance between the guitar and wall, essential for both acoustic and electric instruments.

The CC01 cradle is specifically designed for classical nylon-string guitars, distinguishing it from the Guitar Keeper cradle style (CC01K) recommended for steel-string electric, acoustic, and bass guitars with six or fewer strings. Mounting hardware is included, with installation accommodating wall studs via direct screw mounting or using the supplied plastic toggles for drywall – though concrete or brick surfaces require masonry screws available separately. The recommended weight limit is 15 lbs or less, and the hanger must not be installed with reused toggles.
