Product Information
The patented EndurNeck profile eliminates the tension and fatigue that plague traditional bass necks, allowing the fretting hand to maintain a natural, relaxed position across extended sessions. This 4-string bass from Strandberg combines headless construction with a sculpted chambered body that redistributes weight away from the shoulders and back. The Blue Aura Metallic finish highlights the body's compound curves and bevels, each contour calculated to provide unrestricted fretboard access from low B to high register work. Strandberg's approach strips away the traditional headstock entirely, balancing the instrument at its centre of gravity for extended playability without the neck dive common to longer-scale basses.
The Boden Bass Standard features a 34-inch scale length with 24 frets, delivering full low-end response while maintaining clarity in the upper register. Passive electronics route through a two-pickup configuration with individual volume and tone controls, offering straightforward signal shaping without preamp colouration. The proprietary hardware system integrates string anchoring and fine-tuning directly into the body, eliminating mechanical mass at the headstock end. Strandberg's chambered body construction reduces overall weight to well below conventional solidbody designs, while the EndurNeck's asymmetric profile tapers from nut to heel to match natural thumb positioning. The neck joint provides clean access to all 24 frets without the heel obstruction typical of bolt-on designs.
