Product Information
The Spector Euro 4 Rex Brown Signature Bass translates decades of thunderous metal tone into a premium four-string designed alongside the Pantera and Down bassist. Built on the acclaimed Euro Series platform, this signature model combines a flame maple top with a lightweight Empress body, delivering exceptional resonance and extended playing comfort without compromising low-end authority. The Desert Gold finish draws inspiration from the New Mexico landscape, complemented by smoke crown inlays and gold hardware that reinforce Rex Brown's distinctive aesthetic.
At the heart of the tone sits a pairing of EMG PJ-X pickups routed through Spector's TonePump active preamp, providing articulate high-frequency detail, aggressive midrange punch, and floor-shaking bass response. The 3-piece maple neck features Rex's custom profile for immediate familiarity, paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard that balances warmth and attack. Bass and treble controls offer wide-ranging tonal shaping, while a rear-accessible trim pot allows precise output adjustment to match any amplifier. An aluminium locking bridge with brass saddles maximises sustain and tuning stability across aggressive playing styles.
This signature model ships with an official Spector gig bag and carries exclusive Rex Brown branding throughout. The custom neck profile accommodates extended sessions and fast technical passages, while the lightweight Empress body reduces fatigue during long sets. From studio tracking to high-volume live performance, the Euro 4 Rex Brown Signature maintains tonal clarity and mechanical reliability under demanding professional conditions.
