The Soundboks Rider is a portable Bluetooth party speaker that prioritises power density and field endurance over sheer size. Weighing just 6.5kg, it delivers 118 dB of output through dual Texas Instruments Class-D amplifiers running in PBTL mode (72W peak, 20W RMS per channel), making it one of the loudest speakers in its portability class. The included swappable 12.8V, 7.8Ah lithium iron phosphate battery provides up to 35 hours of playback, and the effective frequency range spans 40 Hz to 20 kHz.

The enclosure is weather-resistant and drop-tested for outdoor use, with a detachable grille for customisation and cleaning. Connectivity includes Bluetooth wireless pairing and a wired AUX input, with no Pro Panel or multi-speaker TeamUp functionality–this is designed as a standalone unit for spontaneous gatherings rather than fixed installations. The companion app enables custom EQ profiles, firmware updates, and a security PIN code for both audio connection and app access. Sound profiles adjust output to match different environments and listening scenarios on the fly.
