Product Information
The BeatBuddy MINI 2 is a compact drum machine pedal that strips away excess without sacrificing the core functionality of Singular Sound's award-winning original. Purpose-built as a practice and performance tool, it's earned adoption across institutional settings–the School of Rock, Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, and working guitarist Taylor Robinson all rely on it as an efficient backing accompaniment for rehearsal and stage work.
At its heart, the MINI 2 delivers a self-contained drum machine in a pedalboard-friendly footprint. The unit functions as both a practice aid and live performance tool, offering drum patterns across multiple genres and tempos. Its compact housing makes it ideal for players with limited board real estate, while the single-footswitch operation keeps hands free for playing. The pedal integrates straightforwardly into any rig via standard audio outputs, allowing direct connection to amplifiers, mixers, or in-ear monitoring systems without requiring external controllers or breakout interfaces.
Built into touring rigs and teaching curricula alike, the MINI 2 excels where drummers aren't available and metronome-only practice feels limiting. The ability to lock into full drum grooves–complete with kick, snare, and hi-hat articulation–accelerates muscle memory development and rhythm internalisation, especially for solitary woodshedding sessions or stripped-down acoustic performances where a full rhythm section isn't feasible.
