The Shure SCM262 is a stereo microphone mixer built for sound reinforcement applications that blend professional audio sources with consumer stereo equipment. Output options include unbalanced stereo RCA connectors and balanced 1/4-inch TRS outputs for amplifiers or powered speakers. The mixer supplies 12V phantom power for condenser microphones, whilst defeatable ducking and "jukebox mute" functions provide practical control over priority sources—muting background music when microphone levels spike.
