Product Information
The Shure MX418SN is a professional gooseneck condenser microphone engineered for speech capture in conference rooms, houses of worship, courtrooms and lecture halls. This 18–inch (460mm) dual–flex gooseneck features a cardioid condenser capsule for focused sound rejection, low–impedance balanced output, and an integrated mute switch for presenter control. The locking flange mount secures permanently to lecterns, podiums and table surfaces, while the included shock mount provides over 20 dB of isolation from surface vibration noise.
Interchangeable cartridges allow polar pattern flexibility across every Microflex model, delivering wide frequency response and accurate sound reproduction. The balanced, transformerless output maximises immunity to electromagnetic hum and RF interference over long cable runs, while new RF filtering further reduces unwanted noise. Dual–flex construction enables precise microphone positioning and holds position reliably during presentations. The package includes a snap–fit foam windscreen, shock–mount microphone stand adapters, and a complete installation kit with locking metal windscreen.
