Remo's Rhythm Log is a hand percussion instrument that delivers multi–tonal output from a single compact frame. Built by Remo, a brand with deep roots in drum manufacturing, the Rhythm Log exploits recycled tube shells as its foundation–a choice that balances sustainability with acoustic performance. The instrument's three distinct playing surfaces allow percussionists to extract varied tones without repositioning, making it an efficient option for studios, live setups, and practice spaces where real estate matters.

Construction centres on a recycled tube shell finished in vibrant orange PVC covering, measuring 45 cm long and 20 cm high when boxed for transit. The unit ships at 2 kg, keeping it portable for gigging musicians. Two included rubber bouncy ball mallets are engineered to produce soft, warm articulation across the three playing zones–a tonal palette suited to world music, contemporary percussion scoring, and experimental sound design. The mallet pairing allows quick tone switching without swapping implements.
