Product Information
Remo's Ambassador® SMT™ Clear bass drumhead is an 18" pre-muffled design engineered to manage unwanted resonance whilst preserving tonal depth. Built on Sub Muffl® Technology, this single-ply head suits both jazz contexts and contemporary styles requiring controlled sustain and articulate pitch definition.
The 10-mil coated film construction balances responsiveness with tone shaping, delivering controlled high and mid-range frequencies alongside powerful low-end output. This thickness and composition yields broad tuning flexibility across the frequency spectrum, enabling subsonic attack and additional low-end presence that cuts through in larger ensembles without excessive ringing or wash.
