Product Information

A steel-plate two-point tremolo with brass saddles sits at the heart of the PRS Tekton T, and it can be set to float for expressive vibrato without losing tuning stability. This electric guitar pairs it with a figured mango top, a subtly offset mahogany body and a shallow violin carve, so it reads as PRS from across the room. The thin maple neck, sculpted heel and scooped upper-fret access keep lead work quick and comfortable.

The PRS Stylus humbuckers were voiced for the Tekton family, with Alnico 5 magnets and moderate output that favour note definition over raw gain. Their flatter output keeps some character through a tube amp while sitting well with digital rigs, and the push/pull tone control splits the coils. Wider string spacing, matching the Silver Sky and Fiore, gives sweeping arpeggios and precise pick attack more room. A 25.5-inch scale, 16-inch radius and stainless steel frets complete the feel.

Phase III locking tuners help the tuning hold steady, and the controls stay simple with a volume, push/pull tone and three-way blade switch. High-gloss nitro covers the body, while the neck gets a satin nitro finish. This Imperial Topaz model with a natural neck ships with a PRS Premium gig bag. Other colours in the range are Slate Blue, Black Tourmaline, Violet Tourmaline, Bloodstone Red and Fuchsia Aura.
