PRS Silver Sky Defender Ltd Edition (Sandglow Yellow) w/Custom ATA Case

This limited–edition signature model takes its finish straight from John Mayer's personal vintage Land Rover Defender collection, translating Sandglow Yellow bodywork into a painted body and matching headstock. Only 500 guitars exist in this colour worldwide – part of a 2,000–piece run spanning four heritage Defender paint codes. The Silver Sky platform underneath delivers the same feel and response Mayer and PRS developed around vintage–inspired tone and playability, now housed in a custom ATA moulded case with Defender badging and a numbered neck plate reading "1 of 500".

The bolt–on maple neck meets a rosewood fretboard across a 635mm scale length with a 7.25" radius and 22 frets. Three single–coil pickups are wired through a five–way switch with individual tone controls for neck and middle positions, while the two–point steel tremolo and locking tuners maintain tuning stability under aggressive use. The alder body carries that signature Sandglow Yellow finish with contrasting details that mirror Defender's two–tone aesthetic – a painted headstock reserved for select limited runs and PRS's core–level build quality throughout.
