PRS Custom 24 Pat Thin Fire Smokeburst

Since 1985, this flagship model has defined what a professional electric guitar can be. The PRS Custom 24 Pat Thin Fire Smokeburst features a figured maple top over a mahogany body, delivering the tonal foundation that has made this instrument a mainstay for touring artists and session players worldwide. The 24-fret mahogany neck with 25" scale length and rosewood fretboard provides fast access across the entire range, while PRS's patented Gen III tremolo and Phase III tuners with wing buttons ensure rock-solid tuning stability even under aggressive playing.

DMO (Dynamic, Musical, Open) pickups in both treble and bass positions represent years of PRS research into vintage pickup designs and modern signal analysis. These pickups deliver a wide-open frequency response from bass to treble, with a vocal character that translates clearly through any amplifier. The electronics are controlled via standard volume and tone knobs paired with a 5-way blade switch, offering five distinct tonal voices from glassy cleans to thick overdrive. The Pat Thin finish on this Smokeburst model showcases the figured maple top with a thinner nitrocellulose application that allows the wood to resonate more freely.
