Protection Racket's 32" gong case (model 7279-47) builds on the same rigid construction philosophy as the brand's Proline drum cases, engineered to protect larger suspended cymbals through touring and studio sessions. Internal dimensions span 33.5" × 3.5", accommodating the full hardware footprint of a 32" gong whilst providing clearance for stands and mounting fixtures. The distinguishing feature is a set of fully adjustable, padded ergonomic rucksack straps that transform the case into a wearable solution for gigging musicians.
The case construction meets the same durability specifications as Protection Racket's professional percussion range, combining rigid external protection with interior padding to cushion the instrument during transport. The ergonomic harness distributes weight across shoulders and back, critical when moving larger gongs that demand stable, hands-free carrying. Protection Racket sizes its entire gong case range from 20" through 50" (model 7279-41 to 7279-53), each maintaining the same 3.5" internal depth but scaling the diameter in 2" increments.
