Product Information
Protection Racket's snare cases represent a purpose-built approach to drum transport, engineered specifically to isolate and protect one of the drummer's most personal instruments. Available across 12 distinct sizes ranging from 10" to 15" diameter shells with depths from 3" to 8", these rigid cases prioritise security over portability without sacrificing accessibility. The 14" × 5.5" model sits in the sweet spot for standard snare configurations, offering 17" × 6.5" internal space to accommodate shell hardware and bearing edges.
The rucksack strap configuration on this variant transforms the case from a hand-carry proposition into a backpack-friendly solution, distributing weight evenly across shoulders during transit. Internal dimensions exceed external specs by design–the 17" × 6.5" cavity provides clearance for snare wires, lugs, and tension rods without cramping. Construction throughout maintains the rigid shell integrity Protection Racket applies across its drum case range, ensuring consistent protection whether the snare travels in a van or on foot between studio and venue.
Multiple carrying options exist across the full range: standard handle, concealed shoulder strap (model 3011C-00), or rucksack straps (model 3011R-00). Players working multiple kit configurations benefit from the range–piccolo configurations in 10", 12", and 13" diameters accommodate side snares or compact setups, whilst deeper 14" × 8" cases (model 3009-00) suit custom or oversized shells. Selection depends entirely on actual drum dimensions rather than marketing categories.
